Program Manager , Relay Operations Center Tech and Ops Integration

Amazon's Middle Mile is looking for a detail-oriented, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Program Manager. In this role, you will drive innovation in Amazon's Middle Mile Transportation network. The person in this role will partner with technical teams, manage stakeholders and customers, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and deliver strong results. This person will have a high degree of autonomy with the ability to navigate ambiguous problems, develop solutions, and drive projects forward with minimal guidance. Key job responsibilities - Define both long term strategy and short term plans to achieve program goals and deliver business results. - Define, prioritize and plan resources and technical requirements needed for programs to be delivered on time. - Work with peers and stakeholders in order to generate program adoption and ensure a successful implementation. - Write business cases, perform supporting research and analysis, write specifications, and drive program development from design to launch. - You will be required to have clear, precise, and regular communication with all stakeholders for program/product status reports as well as leadership reviews. - Drive change management and adoption of solution across Ops teams. - Manage post-launch activities (user support, new feature development, etc.) - Establish KPIs, identify gaps, and improve performance and adoption of program/product. - Deep dive problems or opportunity areas and propose solutions to address. - Generate new ideas to drive improvement, efficiency and automation across the transportation supply chain. About the team The ROC Tech Team is dedicated to the development of technology that advances efficiency and elevates operational standards of the Relay Operations Center. To that end, we act as liaison between MMPT (Middle Mile Product Team) and ROC Ops teams, to ensure that feature development aligns with customer needs and operations' priorities at global scale. The key objective of the ROC Tech Team is that all ROC Teams should be supported on the Disruption Management platform, and that operations should be integrated with DM and Relay technology to the extent that enables ROC to grow as a global organization with geographically agnostic team structures. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
