As a Program Manager, you'll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change at Amazon, leading improvement projects and programs. You'll use strategic thinking to define and implement efficient project plans to support education and career growth of our Safety Professionals across the globe. Key job responsibilities
* Coordinate and facilitate WHS (Workplace Health & Safety) training programs
*Create and implement innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in the organization
* Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, driving improvements across a range of teams and organizations
* Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritize improvement programs, with end-to-end ownership
*Enhance operational performance on programs in partnership with key stakeholders
A day in the life
As a program manager, you will drive and manage implementation of programs designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of our WHS professionals. Working out of one of our three US-based offices, you will collaborate with central team partners and site-based customers to deliver world-class educational and developmental programs to our field based and corporate teams. The Program Manager role offers the opportunity to personally implement assigned programs as you facilitate and coordinate live, virtual and hybrid courses on a variety of topics relevant to WHS professionals. This role requires you to be an engaging and skilled classroom facilitator.

About the team
Workplace Health & Safety plays a crucial role in keeping our people mentally and physically well at work. Our team works with managers, associates and local governments across our sites, making sure we're complying with Amazon's policies and legal regulations, and that our workplaces are safe.
Our team is responsible for developing, implementing and upholding our high safety and well-being standards, working alongside colleagues from across the business to create programs that support all requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Relevant experience in a Learning and Development, training, education or facilitation role
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- PMP
- Master's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
