This position is within Innovation Studios, a cross-functional unit with members in Hangzhou, Mumbai and other global locations. As part of Innovation Studios, this role will lead the Design and Visual Studio function, driving creative strategy, visual identity, and program delivery for State Street’s client-facing and internal initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with the sales organization and other business units to ensure alignment with State Street’s brand and business objectives.

What you will be responsible for
As VP, Program Manager – Design & Visual Studio, you will:
Lead the Design and Visual Studio team to deliver high-quality creative assets, presentations, and visual content for global business and product stakeholders.Set creative direction for the team and ensuring consistent application of State Street’s brand identity across all visual assets and programs.Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex design and visual communication programs for all client facing deliveries in the scope of sales enablement.Build and maintain strong relationships with the sales organization and other key business stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and drive effective collaboration.Develop and implement processes for creative project management, resource allocation, and quality assurance within the studio.Representing Innovation Studios in client-facing engagements, demonstrating professionalism and ethical behavior at all times.Mentor and develop a high-performing team of designers and program managers, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.Stay current with design trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure State Street’s visual communications remain innovative and impactful.Driving continuous improvement in design processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and creativity.What we value

Deep expertise in graphic design, visual storytelling, and creative direction, with a strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of brand identity systems.In-depth knowledge of State Street’s brand guidelines and ability to translate them into compelling visual assets across multiple channels.Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience partnering with sales and business leaders to deliver high-impact design solutions.Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams in a fast-paced, global environment.Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills, with a track record of delivering complex programs on time and within budget.Ability to navigate a large, matrixed organization and build effective networks across functions and geographies.Excellent communication and presentation skills, adaptable across multiple formats (one-on-one, town hall, virtual, social, etc.).Initiative, resilience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.Education & Preferred Qualifications
