Actalent Services is hiring a Program Manager with strong experience designing industrial facilities, distribution and datacenters for a permanent leadership role offering hybrid flexibility.
The Program Manager is responsible for the successful management and delivery of operations for one of Actalent's largest clients and our corresponding global design teams. This role collaborates closely with internal support functions to provide a great client experience while leading and directing project teams. The Program Manager ensures all projects within their account or account portfolio meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements. Additionally, this role provides overall guidance to achieve program goals, objectives, and deliverables, and drives new and expansion opportunities. The Program Manager maintains and grows relationships with key client stakeholders and employees to continually enhance program performance in support of client business goals.
Responsibilities
People Management
Attract, interview, select, and induct a delivery execution team with industry knowledge to expertly lead and execute on projects.Manage resources in the program, including performance management and direction, issue resolution, and hiring and termination decisions.Provide ongoing professional growth opportunities for direct reports to include individual development plans, and overall program goals.Program Management
Support and direct the delivery execution team to facilitate workflow development, project scope development and risk assessment, issues resolution, and work forecasting and planning.Develop and manage program plans, budgets, schedules, and documentation including change management, risk mitigation, reporting, and managing and documenting acceptance criteria.Provide input and support to the delivery execution team to ensure quality deliverables and the modification of resources to maintain and enhance a profitable operation.Lead and coordinate a delivery execution team to foster collaboration and ensure effective communication.Plan, control, and allocate resources required to meet program requirements.Provide direction and innovation in service and/or process improvement, cost reduction, and recommendations forbusiness process optimization and profit improvement.Ensures compliance with client’s specifications, quality standards, regulatory requirements, company work rules, and procedures and safety requirements.Utilize program management skills including communication, presentation, time management, organization, and planning to successfully achieve program goals and objectives and program deliverables.Identify resource requirements by working closely with the client stakeholders.Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly status reports to Actalent Services Management and appropriate client recipients.Operations Management
In support with Delivery Manager, develop strategy for the client portfolio and direct and manage the operations for the account or location with overall responsibility for account growth and gross profit.Work with Actalent Services support teams to build robust systems and processes for performance management, billing and invoicing, operational support, and training and development.Work with internal Actalent Services support teams to resolve client issues related to invoicing, reporting, data integrity, etc.Drive net new and expansion scope or revenue opportunities by identifying those new opportunities.Facilitate the continuous improvement of processes, SOP creation, contracts, financials, and performance management.Client Management
Provide overall governance for the engagement and ensure that the terms of the MSA are met.Direct and manage the account or location operations through the overall responsibility of account growth and gross profit, client stakeholder management, and client satisfaction.Maintain strong relationships with all client stakeholders.Conduct Client Governance Touchpoints with clients and team to assess progress against the plan/deliverables.Support quarterly and annual business reviews with client stakeholders and Actalent Services executives.Qualifications
Team player with ability to work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environmentBSc/BA degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management or related technical fieldPMP Certified a plus; proven knowledge of project management methods requiredMinimum 5 years of experience within facilities design, industrial design and/or engineering design services profession required for consideration.Minimum 2 years of experience in managing mid-size projects or programs; must have people-management experienceProven experience designing industrial facilities, including but not limited to: warehousing, distribution facilities, and product manufacturing plantsSW & Tools: Proficient in CAD/Revit with experience coaching/mentoring designers utilizing Revit; Highly proficient in PC applications- MS Office suite of tools.Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to effectively present to large customer groupsStrong organizational and time management skillsDemonstrated leadership abilities with managing large dispersed teams with diverse skillsetsAbility to travel locally (greater Seattle area) to customer sites as neededCompensation and Benefit Information
