**About the Role:**
As a Project Engineer at TAI, you will serve as the strategic engine behind a critical manufacturing facility restart in Baltimore. This high-impact role places you at the center of the action, where you will orchestrate the full project lifecycle; from initial engineering and vendor coordination through to construction, commissioning, and final start-up. You won't just be managing tasks; you will be the primary bridge between internal stakeholders and external contractors, ensuring that complex technical systems are brought back online safely, compliantly, and efficiently.

**Here’s a glimpse into your day to day:**
+ Collaborate with Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, and other stakeholders to plan and execute capital and maintenance projects supporting facility restart.
+ Provide day-to-day coordination and oversight of contractors and equipment vendors.
+ Coordinate engineering, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities across multiple disciplines.
+ Develop and maintain project schedules and task-level plans to support restart sequencing and critical path management.
+ Track progress against schedule, identify constraints or risks early, and support resolution of issues to maintain project momentum.
+ Support development of capital requests, cost estimates, bid evaluations, and contractor selection.
+ Manage and support change control related to scope, schedule, and cost in accordance with site and corporate procedures.
+ Support field execution through site walks, issue resolution, and coordination between trades and stakeholders.
+ Ensure all activities are executed in compliance with applicable GMP, EHS, and site quality requirements.
+ Support commissioning, qualification, and start-up activities to ensure systems are safe, functional, and compliant prior to turnover to operations.
**You’ll be a perfect fit if you have:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
+ 5+ years of experience in project engineering, facilities engineering, or capital project execution in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, or industrial environments.
+ Experience supporting capital projects through design, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
+ Familiarity with regulated environments (GMP, EHS, Quality systems) preferred.
+ Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
+ Ability to work effectively across functions and with external contractors and vendors.
+ Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment.
+ Familiarity with commissioning, qualification, and validation processes.
+ Experience with project scheduling tools and cost tracking systems.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
+ Pay: $115,000-140,000 annually (based upon experience)
+ Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable)
