Northrop Grumman’s Business Management Team has an opening for a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst – Level 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be on-site in Redondo Beach, California. This role is not offering telework or hybrid telework.
Our Senior Principal Program Cost Control Analyst for the Space Sector will help prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist with financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis. You will also work to ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation for expenditure projections and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
To be considered for this role, you must have U.S. Citizenship with an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret clearance and or Special Compartmented Information Access (SCI) upon application.
Your Role and Impact:
Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systemSupport audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to completeLead for multiple Integrated Project Teams (IPTS)Partner with finance lead on upcoming proposals and support Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP)Other duties as assignedWhy You? Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of stated professional experience – OR – Master’s degree and 6 years of stated professional experienceWill consider an additional 4+ years of stated experience in lieu of degreeActive DoD TS Clearance and or SCI accessExperience with financial analysis or reporting Experience with MS Office SuiteExperience with Earned Value Management (EVMS)Preferred Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
