The Program Coordinator II supervises Program and Policy Specialist staff engaged in harm reduction activities, providing strategic direction and performance support. This position leads day-to-day operations of harm reduction service delivery, including fixed-site activities and mobile outreach. The role oversees the Overdose Data to Action contract, including deliverable monitoring and reporting. **What You’ll Do** + Coordinate and support daily program operations, activities, and events + Supervise and support staff as assigned, including coaching and team check-ins + Track program goals, deadlines, deliverables, and reporting requirements + Maintain accurate records, data, and documentation + Monitor program performance and help improve outcomes using data + Support community engagement, outreach events, and partnerships + Prepare reports for leadership, funders, and stakeholders + Assist with budgets, grants, and compliance requirements + Represent JCPH at community meetings, health fairs, and public events + Promote a collaborative, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed team culture + Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and public health standards + Be flexible—local travel and occasional evenings/weekends may be required + Support emergency response efforts when needed **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in a related field **or** equivalent education plus 2 years of experience + Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines + Comfortable with data entry, scheduling, and documentation + Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software + Experience working with diverse communities and cultures + Ability to present information to groups and solve problems logically + Ability to work independently with minimal direction + Valid driver’s eligibility **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s degree in public health, health education/promotion, social work, or a related field + Knowledge of behavioral epidemiology and health education principles **Ready to Make an Impact?** If you’re organized, community-minded, and excited to support meaningful public health work, **we’d love to hear from you—apply today and help move Jackson County Public Health forward.** **Working at University Health is about making a difference.
