CORE JOB SUMMARY                 

The program coordinator provides general oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Unanue Graduate Career Advancement & Engagement team. Moreover, the incumbent assists with the development, organization, production, and evaluation of the center to achieve its mission, goals, and objectives. An employee in this position demonstrates familiarity with University policies and procedures and ensures program compliance.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS        
1.    Supports the department’s reception desk providing a positive first-impression to all stakeholders, including the implementation of virtual office hours.  Greets and provides assistance to visitors.
2.    Manages and trains student ambassadors and partners with other university units as needed for training and support.  
3.    Drafts and initiates correspondence, assists in accumulation of reference materials, including delivering the weekly newsletter Buzz and coordinates and attends committee meetings.
4.    Supports the team both within the University of Miami and externally with employer and alumni engagement for recruiting and career networking events.
5.    Supports programming, classes and data management for experiential learning. 
6.    Assists in alumni outreach and follow-up for speakers, experiential learning, events, and projects.
7.    Prepares reports to measure against team deliverables.  Drafts comprehensive, statistical, and narrative program reports and evaluations, and monitors program effectiveness, making suggestions for revisions when appropriate.
8.    Works with classroom and career technology to manage, support, and report on experiential learning programs and initiatives.
9.    Provides assistance and support for student participants in all administrative aspects of the center and maintains student files.  
10.    Coordinates and assists with event management initiatives and engagements, including experiential learning efforts.
11.    Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
-    Assists with processing of payments and reimbursements and ensures administrative processes and associated forms services are completed in a timely manner.
12.    Works closely with students to continuously evaluate their student experience and improve the quality and value of the program.
13.    Responds to various stakeholder requests via telephone, email,  video conferencing, virtual room, or any other form of communication.
14.    Coordinates logistics and participates in events in support of the Graduate Career Advancement Center  and Miami Herbert Business School. 
15.    Other duties as assigned

CORE QUALIFICATIONS        

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred

Certification and Licensing:
Not Applicable

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience required
A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered

•    Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.

•    Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word).
