Onsite – Buffalo, NYProgram Controls Analyst As the Program Controls Analyst, you will be responsible for both the financial and schedule performance of the program.  The Finance portion of the role will be responsible for sales forecasting, cash flow management, and performance to plan analytics.  The scheduling portion will be responsible for developing integrated master plans and schedules in support of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).   You will be a subject-matter expert for scheduling and for current scheduling software (MS Project online).  You will be a key contributor to the Program Controls team to foster continuous improvements in the Integrated Cost & Schedule Group EVMS system.To be successful in this role, a Program Controls Analyst blends both aspects of cost management and schedule performance to provide both insight into current performance and to assist the organization in forecasting what the future will bring. You should be familiar with the roles and responsibilities of everyone who participates on the program and often orchestrate participation from other team members in providing data for the EVMS.Your day-to-day duties will include:Developing and accurately maintaining integrated master/sub-project schedules, ensuring schedule logic is maintained (horizontal & vertical).Consolidating cost and schedule data to calculate and analyze program performance which helps identify significant variances that trip reporting thresholds.Developing ad hoc reporting and analysis which identify financial trends within the monthly reporting cycle to improve program execution.Coordinating work activities with project team members, progressing schedules, and assisting in identifying and resolving schedule conflicts. Conducting detailed analysis of major Program Events as well as key intermediate milestones.Working with the Program Manager to analyze and interpret performance data for monthly reporting and presentation to senior management.Working with the finance organization to ensure cost management policies are being maintainedInterpreting the status for potential cost and/or schedule impacts and communicate said impacts to control account/program manager and Integrated Product Team Leads.Risk & Opportunity management throughout the project lifecycle: identifying risks, assessing impacts and tracking mitigations.Basic Qualifications:At least 3 years’ relevant experience within planning, scheduling and cost managementDemonstrable knowledge of engineering, accounting or a related field typically through a degree or equivalent experience.Experience of using MS project (or equivalent) and familiar with earned value measurement (EVM) techniques in cost and schedule performance management from initial schedule development through program completionProficient in using MS office applications including Excel and PowerPointStrong numerical and analytical skills, demonstrated through experienceOutstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate with different functional teamsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitmentsHow we care for you:Financial Rewards: great compensation package, annual profit sharing, matching 401k and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Flexible Spending and Health Savings AccountsWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistanceHealth & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan (“EAP”) and other supplemental benefit coveragesProfessional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programsCollaborative and Welcoming Workplace: Inclusive culture rooted in our values, enhanced by Employee Resource Groups, and team-building activities.Additional site-specific benefits may be offered#LI-CP1

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $75,000.00–$90,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
