Your Role:
As a Program Finance Business Manager, you will be responsible for the financial reporting and deliverables of the Program, including project controls, Control Account Management (CAM) reporting, Estimates at Completion, Rolling Forecasts, Invoicing, Key Performance Index Monitoring, Cash Management, and other ad-hoc reporting as required.
You will also have accountability for:
Leadership, implementation and monitoring of effective controls to drive positive financial outcomesHands-on financial management responsibilitiesFinancial reporting on the programWorking with the Subcontracts team to reconcile open commitmentsReviewing monthly journals for accrualsEnsure weekly timesheet reviews occurEnsuring artefacts and folders are maintainedProviding value add suggestions around process improvementsReviewing of program performance reports for adequacy and compliancePresenting of financial reporting to the customer and internal stakeholdersReviewing monthly forecasting and closing activitiesProviding guidance to the business on accounting policies and proceduresBeing the financial point of contact for the programFiduciary responsibility for accurate P&L and cash flowSupporting execution of contractual requirements, including customer reporting, meetings, negotiationsFostering financial acumen in program personnelLeading and mentoring program personnelAbout You:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Finance, Commerce as well as qualifications in Project Management)CPA or CA QualifiedProject financial controls experienceKnowledge of:Cost to Cost / Percentage completeRevenue Recognition in accordance with AASB15Estimate at Completion ReportingStrong negotiation skills, influencing and stakeholder managementInterpreting contracts and tender documentationExperience working in defence is not essential but highly desirableWhat we Offer:
