About the Role: Aon New Zealand is seeking an Account Executive to support and grow our specialist Professional Risks scheme portfolio, delivering tailored insurance solutions for clients in the professional services sector. This role plays a key part in ensuring continuity of service, meeting regulatory and documentation standards, and supporting high‑quality client outcomes. In this position, you will manage day‑to‑day account activity for an allocated group of scheme clients - including renewals, mid‑term adjustments, policy enquiries, and claims while also supporting a broader portfolio where senior colleagues hold primary relationships. A strong understanding of professional risk products, particularly professional indemnity insurance, is essential to ensuring solutions are aligned to the unique risk profiles and regulatory needs of professional services firms. You will also contribute to identifying and developing new scheme opportunities, working closely with internal teams, insurers, and key external stakeholders to deliver better outcomes for clients and the business. This is a full‑time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week) based in Auckland CBD. Some of your responsibilities will include: Managing and supporting an allocated portfolio of professional risk scheme clients Assisting with client renewals in line with Aon New Zealand protocols Preparing accurate and concise premium calculations and premium allocations Negotiating policy terms, conditions, and quotations with insurers to achieve strong client outcomes Identifying and supporting new scheme opportunities and referral arrangements Building collaborative relationships with clients, insurers, regulators, and internal stakeholders Demonstrating and role‑modelling Aon’s values — Committed, United, Passionate Supporting proactive health, safety, wellbeing, and risk‑management practices Ensuring compliance with all financial advice processes, record‑keeping standards, and regulatory obligations Skills and experience that will lead to success: You will bring strong interpersonal, organisational, and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑paced environment. Experience within insurance or liability schemes is highly advantageous. Key requirements: NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) – Insurance, or progress toward it Relevant experience in insurance, financial services, or a similar professional role Strong documentation capability and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (intermediate–advanced), and Outlook Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities A collaborative, values‑driven mindset that supports positive client and team outcomes Why Aon?
