Job Title: MEP Design Manager Lead

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership: Drive MEP design development (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection) from concept to completion.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and delegate tasks to junior engineers, fostering a professional development environment.

Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers for seamless integration and clash resolution.

Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance, conduct design reviews, approve drawings, specifications, and BOQs, ensuring compliance with codes (NBC, ASHRAE, NFPA).

Budget & Schedule: Manage MEP-related costs and timelines, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Quality & Execution: Oversee on-site execution, conduct inspections, resolve issues, and lead testing/commissioning.

Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for technical clarifications and approvals. 

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.

Experience: Proven experience in MEP design for complex projects (commercial, residential, data centers).

Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, MS Project.

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting systems and relevant codes.

Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
