Job Title: QA/QC Manager - Data Center / Mixed-Use Development Construction Project

Location: Mumbai /Navi Mumbai India

Job Summary: JLL is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to manage quality assurance and quality control for Data Center/ mixed-use development construction project in Mumbai / Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and extensive experience in managing quality aspects of complex construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all construction work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA/QC programs for the Data Center / mixed-use development project

Establish quality standards and ensure adherence throughout all phases of construction

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards

Review and approve quality control plans submitted by contractors and subcontractors

Manage and analyze quality-related data, preparing detailed reports for project management and stakeholders

Identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other team members to resolve quality issues

Oversee material testing and ensure all materials meet required specifications

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local building codes and regulations

Train site personnel on quality control procedures and best practices

Liaise with external quality auditors and regulatory inspectors as needed

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for quality management processes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE Civil)

7-10 years of experience in construction quality management, with a focus on mixed-use development projects

Proven track record in implementing and managing QA/QC systems in large-scale construction projects

Strong knowledge of Indian building codes, standards, and regulations

Proficiency in quality management software and tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Exceptional communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of Marathi is a plus)

Valid professional certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQA) preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Construction Management or related field

Familiarity with international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001)

Experience with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications

Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) software

Understanding of Lean Construction principles
