Job Description
This role involves using molds and presses in the production process to produce parts efficiently and independently. You will work on manufacturing assignments according to written procedures, requiring the ability to recognize deviations from standard practices. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
ResponsibilitiesOperate press machine to create parts using molds.Clean and prime parts with appropriate chemicals and solutions.Measure stock to ensure correct thickness and length.Place various materials in molds, on mandrels, or in build fixtures by hand.Weigh stock and scrap for salvage purposes.Monitor production to detect defects early.Use production equipment and tools regularly, such as calipers and scales.Ensure materials handling and recordkeeping comply with company and ISO standards.Follow safety policies and procedures consistently.Maintain a safe and clutter-free work area, including setup and cleanup at shift start and end.Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.Essential SkillsAbility to lift up to 30 lbs.Proficiency in reading a tape measure.Competence in using hand tools to fabricate parts.Attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in general labor or assembly.Skilled in the use of calipers, depth gauges, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.Experience with power tools and production equipment.Combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of specific education requirements.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing environment with variable conditions, including temperature instability and exposure to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or vapors. There may be exposure to solvents and other industrial chemicals.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.30 - $23.10/hr.
