**Job Title: Production Worker - Plastics Department** **Job Description** Join our team as a Production Worker in the Plastics Department, where you'll play a crucial role in assembling and inspecting test strips, packaging products, and operating basic production tools. You will be responsible for removing, separating, documenting, and reporting defective materials or products, as well as monitoring material levels. You must adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and be prepared to perform additional duties as required, including working extended hours when necessary. **Responsibilities** + Assemble and inspect test strips to ensure quality. + Lift and handle products weighing up to 25 lbs. + Package products efficiently and operate basic production tools. + Identify, separate, document, and report defective materials and products. + Monitor material levels to ensure consistent production flow. + Follow SOPs to maintain safety and quality standards. + Perform additional duties as required and work extended hours when necessary. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production, manufacturing, or as a production line worker. + Ability to perform general production tasks including bottling, packing, and machine operation. + Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Entry-level position with a focus on good job tenure. + Desire to work in a manufacturing environment. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity, providing room for growth with the company for individuals who excel in their role. Choose between the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or the 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Our facility is recognized worldwide for its innovative manufacturing processes and commitment to maintaining high standards in water quality monitoring. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr.
