Job Description

Join a leading drawer manufacturer in Orange as a Production Associate, where you will play a crucial role in the assembly and packaging of quality drawer products. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with assembly of products by inserting pegs and gluing pieces of drawers together.Assemble boxes for packaging, including stapling, notching, applying clips, cleaning boxes, applying glue, and sanding.Ensure work station is kept clean and organized.Perform packaging and sorting of products efficiently.Stack wood on pallets and secure them properly for shipment.Plastic wrap, organize, and palletize drawers for shipment.Visually inspect products for any defects before packaging.Use attention to detail to ensure boards are properly sanded.Essential SkillsExperience in packaging and assembly, ideally working around machinery in a dusty environment.Ability to lift and maneuver up to 15+ lbs.Possess attention to detail to ensure drawers are properly protected and secured.Ability to use hands and be on feet all day long.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude to assist in other departments as needed.Opportunity to move up to various other departments if possessing some aptitude around machinery or woodworking.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The facility hosts 63 people and produces 1,000 drawer boxes per day. The environment can be dusty with wood shavings and saw dust. The position is on the 1st shift from 5 am to 1:30 pm, with flexibility required for overtime and occasional Saturday work. Spanish-speaking individuals are welcome.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ORANGE, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
