Job Title: Production Worker – 3rd Shift (Temp Assignment)
Shift: Third Shift | 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Saturdays as needed
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Assignment Length: Temporary, 30–90 days
The Production Worker supports manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient product handling, palletizing, sanitation, and line support activities. This role requires attention to safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The position is third shift and may require overtime, weekends, and holidays based on production needs.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesInspect, straighten, turn, and align product containers on conveyor lines
Lift and place cases onto pallets in predetermined patterns
Verify pallet loads consist of the same product and case type
Remove empty boxes and dispose of them in cardboard compactors
Sweep floors, remove trash, and maintain cleanliness of assigned areas
Remove debris and waste from floors, including broken glass and product
Assist process line operators by keeping lines stocked with caps, labels, and materials
Assist with sanitizing drums, barrels, and buckets
Prep and move pre-weighed kits from staging areas to the kitchen using a hand pallet jack
Follow and practice all safety, GMP, and sanitation requirements
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe shoes and hearing protection
Communicate production issues or concerns to production management
Work collaboratively within a team to meet production standards and goals
Maintain good attendance and a reliable work record
Adhere to all plant policies and procedures
Adapt to changes in production needs
Perform other duties as assigned
Job RequirementsPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (food manufacturing a plus)
Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Understanding of workplace safety rules, procedures, and posted policies
Minimum Physical RequirementsAbility to walk and stand for 8–12 hour shifts
Ability to twist, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull as required
Frequently lift 25–50 lbs
Ability to hear and communicate in moderate to loud noise environments
Ability to work in cold, warm, hot, humid, and/or wet conditions
Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights as required
