**Production Worker/Compounder** Lakeland, FL 33812 Full-Time - OT Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm-4:30am Weekly Pay: $21.00-$22.00/hr **Job Summary** Blending Operator: We need great people who want to do great things. The primary responsibility of the Blending Operator is to blend and pack products ensuring they meet food safety and food quality requirements while meeting the customers’ needs. The Blending Operator works closely with other departments, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Warehouse and Materials Management throughout the day. **BASIC REQUIRMENTS:** • Minimum of one (1) year of food manufacturing experience. • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Must be able to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) in the English language. • Excellent organizational and planning skills needed to maximize job efficiency. • Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds at least 40 feet. • Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations (i.e. percentages, fractions, etc.). • Must be able to operate and read scales in pounds, grams and kilograms. • Must be able to follow good manufacturing practices, work safely and achieve results in a team environment. • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. • Must be able to punctual and meet expectations for regular attendance. • Must have attention to detail and be able to perform several tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment. • Must be able to frequently fill and empty 55-gallon drums, 5 and 7 gallon pails, and other containers. • Must understand basic physical properties of raw materials and intermediates used. • Must be able to safely operate a forklift and be able to attend forklift training course.
