Production Worker
Job Title: Production WorkerJob Description

As a Production Worker, you will operate packaging machinery on a production line and ensure that finished goods are packaged correctly. You will confirm that labels are printed accurately, palletize products once packaging is completed, and manually feed products to the conveyor belt. Additionally, you will assist with the sanitation of the production area while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintaining good housekeeping practices.

ResponsibilitiesOperate packaging machinery on a production line.Package finished goods and ensure proper labeling.Palletize products after packaging is completed.Manually feed products to the conveyor belt.Assist with the sanitation of the production area.Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and good housekeeping practices.Perform duties safely and efficiently while wearing appropriate PPE.Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all business activities.Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.Be available to work any shift, including overtime and holidays.Cover for the absence of other personnel as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in production, general labor, and packaging.Knowledge of food manufacturing and GMP environment.Ability to operate machinery and perform packing tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work weekends.Ability to work 10-hour shifts.Previous experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working in a food manufacturing setting, which includes a humid environment and areas with strong smells. The position requires working 2nd shift from 2pm to 12:45am or 3rd shift from 12:45am to 11:30am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Gate, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
