Overview

A Produce Worker is responsible for handling, preparing, and maintaining fresh fruits and vegetables to ensure quality, freshness, and food safety standards are met. This role supports daily operations by receiving shipments, stocking displays, and keeping work areas clean and organized. Produce Workers play an important role in delivering high-quality products to customers while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Experience Receive, inspect, and stock fresh produce shipmentsSort, wash, trim, and package fruits and vegetables as requiredMonitor product quality and remove damaged or spoiled itemsRotate inventory using FIFO procedures to maintain freshnessMaintain clean, sanitary, and organized work and storage areasFollow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelinesAssist with inventory counts and restockingSupport team members to meet daily productivity goalsProvide basic assistance to customers when neededQualifications:

Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work on your feet for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 40–50 lbsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented with a positive work attitudeBilingual or spanish speaking is preferred but not required.Prior produce, warehouse, or food handling experience preferred but not required
