Production Worker
**Job Title: Fabricator/Assembler** **Job Description** A local manufacturer in Indianapolis is seeking a production worker focused on fabrication/assembly to join the 1st shift team. This role involves working in a clean and expanding job shop environment. **Responsibilities** + Utilize computer systems to track production orders. + Measure and mark steel for machine operations. + Read and interpret production documents. + Operate drill presses and saws. + Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools. + Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area. **Essential Skills** + Experience with hand tools and power tools. + Proficiency in reading blueprints and production documents. + Ability to accurately use a tape measure. + Experience in machine operation including drill presses and saws. + Strong mechanical assembly skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in fabrication and mechanical assembly. + Familiarity with grinding processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1st shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday -Thursday + **$19** **Why Work Here?** Join a growing team in a dynamic environment with opportunities for advancement and a commitment to professional development. **Work Environment** This is a small, clean job shop located in Indianapolis. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
