Production Worker
**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** Join our team to support the maintenance department by cleaning parts for machinery and assisting machine operators in the production process. You will be responsible for lifting up to 50 lbs, assembling and moving materials, ensuring sanitation, and operating equipment as needed. Your role will involve tracking production, safety, and quality data, as well as ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Clean and sanitize plant equipment and machinery parts. + Assist in the production process by supporting machine operators. + Assemble and move materials as needed for tasks such as inspecting, blending, and packing. + Input and track production, safety, and quality data in the Production Reporting System. + Load and unload products from the production line. + Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and other regulations. + Inspect packaged finished goods and ingredients. + Ensure the integrity and certification of the food safety and quality system. + Report and prevent food safety and quality issues. + Evaluate hazards and ensure a safe work environment. + Operate equipment controls, flour system, and blender recipe system. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production, general labor, and assembly. + Ability to read work orders and perform basic math calculations. + Proficiency in machine operation and forklift operation. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions. + Mathematical skills to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Good understanding of plant quality requirements and GMPs. + Strong focus on safety. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Strong team mentality. + Good attendance and work history. + Must be able to read work documents in English. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive compensation and an extensive benefits program that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible savings accounts, 401K matching, wellness programs, and more. Protective equipment such as bump caps, safety glasses, and gloves are provided to ensure safety. The role can involve time pressures, frequent task changes, and working closely as part of a team. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
