Our client, a leading Silicone manufacturer, is seeking a production worker to join their team. As a production worker, you will be part of the team facilitating production to meet the companies quotas. If you have prior manufacturing experience and enjoy a clean, climate controlled work environment, this is the job for you! **Job Title:** Production Worker **Location:** Ballston Spa, New York **Pay Range:** $18/hour + $.50 differential for third shift work **Days-** Monday-Friday, 3rd shift (10pm-6am), with overtime available **Duties and responsibilities** · Follows and adheres to all safety and quality policies and procedures · Sets up and operates machine in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements · Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed) · Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery · Adjusts and cleans machines. · Inspect completed parts and Test operation of machines periodically · Takes Initiative and offers suggestions to improve the operation · Fully competent on specific assigned tasks and/or equipment within 2 months · Performs work in a timely manner with attention to quality · Must be able to achieve production quotas set for the machine assigned to · Follows and takes direction · Demonstrates safe and orderly work practices · Maintains a total awareness of quality practices and procedures · Responsive to all production requests · Must be able to work overtime and weekends (mandatory overtime may be required) **Qualifications and Education** · High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) · Must be able to perform each assigned task at full competency, as recorded on his/her training record. · Troubleshooting skills · Meticulous attention to detail · Extreme patience with equipment · Able to lift at least 50 pounds · Able to work under pressure · Can do – positive attitude **Benefits upon completion period include:** + 401(k) + 401(k) matching + Dental insurance + Health insurance + Life insurance + Paid time off + Vision insurance If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
