Job Description
As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for overseeing machine operations, filling boxes with finished chocolate products, and maintaining productivity through cleaning and other tasks when not directly engaged in production. The role involves standing for the entirety of the shift in a food manufacturing environment.
ResponsibilitiesMonitor machines producing chocolate.Fill boxes with finished products by holding them under machines.Ensure cleanliness and productivity during idle times.Mix, batch, pan, and pack chocolate products.Lift weights up to 50lbs.Pack, label, and stack products.Verify correct labeling on product boxes.Measure and weigh products into pre-made boxes.Mix ingredients according to precise specifications.Operate and troubleshoot machines.Engage in assembly and forklift operations.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing.Mechanical aptitude.Experience in packing, palletizing, visual inspection, machine operation, blending, etc.Ability to keep oneself busy during slow periods through cleaning or other tasks.Team player with a drive to advance within the company.Four years of manufacturing experience with recent work in the past year.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in food manufacturing is highly preferred.Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines, including restrictions on jewelry and certain personal grooming items.References are required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in a clean, well-lit food manufacturing facility where adherence to health and safety guidelines is mandatory. The environment can be fast-paced, requiring extensive standing. Employees must wear hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats. The facility is climate-controlled but can reach up to 100 degrees due to machinery and ovens, while some packaging lines operate in cooler areas at 52 degrees. Shifts include 1st Shift (6:30 am-3:00 pm), 2nd Shift (2:30 pm-11:00 pm), and 3rd Shift (10:30 pm-7:00 am).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
