**Job Title: Production Worker** Job Description As a Production Worker, you will primarily engage in quality control packing, handling cases weighing up to 35 pounds, and stacking them on pallets. You will ensure all packaging and labeling are complete and accurate, record production levels, and transport completed production orders to designated areas. You will also clean and organize work areas and communicate necessary information to the subsequent shift. Responsibilities + Perform quality control packing and handle cases weighing up to 35 pounds. + Ensure all packaging and labeling are complete and accurate. + Record all production levels on work orders and lining charts. + Transport completed production orders to the finished production area. + Remove unused caps and lining materials and clean the work area. + Communicate all required information to the following shift. + Complete all assigned special projects. Essential Skills + Experience as a Machine Operator in plastics, manufacturing, or related fields. + Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repetitively. + Aptitude to correct mechanical problems. + Proficiency in organizing and following written and verbal instructions in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Possession of the required tools to set up and maintain lining machines. + Experience in injection mold, extrusion, and slitter operations. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work alongside 5-10 other employees, each operating their own machine, with limited daily interaction. The role requires wearing jeans, a T-shirt, and steel-toed boots. The position is a Monday through Friday role, with limited overtime, working a straight 40-hour week. Shift options include 1st (6:00am - 2:30pm), 2nd (2:00pm - 10:30pm), and 3rd (10:00pm - 6:30am). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
