Job Description

As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the manufacturing plant, including the cleaning of equipment, machinery, and general grounds. You will adhere to food safety standards, utilize plant touch screens, and follow Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures while maintaining HAACP principles. It is essential to demonstrate the safe and proper use of various cleaning tools and to understand the labeling on cleaning products and sanitizers.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant.Ensure equipment and machinery are cleaned effectively.Adhere to food safety standards and HAACP principles.Use plant touch screens proficiently.Follow Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures.Demonstrate the safe and proper use of cleaning tools such as squeegees, mops, brooms, hand and floor scrapers, and paint brushes.Understand and follow labeling on cleaning products and sanitizers.

Essential Skills

Experience in production, food manufacturing, and general production.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Understanding of machine operation, packaging, inspection, and sanitizing processes.Experience in janitorial duties and industrial cleaning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Entry-level position, ideally with 1 year of experience in a GMP environment.

Work Environment

The work environment adheres strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), as it is a food and beverage manufacturing site. Employees must comply with dress code requirements, such as no jewelry, lip rings, tongue rings, or fake nails. Shifts are available from 6 am to 4:30 pm (A shift) and 8 am to 6:30 pm (B shift).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
