Join our team as a Production Worker where you will play a vital role in rebuilding valves for tanks that are filled with chlorine. You will work with valves similar to those found on propane tanks, using equipment to pressurize and secure them onto the tanks. Once complete, you will use a forklift to transport the finished pallets to staging or shipping areas. As you grow in this role, you will also learn how to fill the tanks with chlorine. Your tasks will include cleaning, prepping, and removing old labels from the tanks, with a focus on general labor and forklift operation.
ResponsibilitiesRebuild valves for tanks used to contain chlorine.Operate equipment to pressurize and attach valves to tanks.Transport completed pallets of tanks using a forklift.Clean, prep, and remove old labels from tanks.Assist with filling tanks with chlorine after initial training.Follow safety protocols and instructions diligently.
Essential Skills3+ years of experience in a production environment, preferably GMP regulated.1+ year of forklift experience.Ability to read a tape measure.Strong safety orientation.Capability to follow instructions and take orders.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with staging, bagging and tagging, chemical handling, labeling, and shipping.Knowledge of warehouse operations and production processes.

Work Environment
The primary work location is in Saint Paul, with occasional assistance needed at the Rosemount plant. The environment is a chemical setting with protective wear provided, including face shields, glasses, and full rubber suits for handling chemicals. Expect a dirty but well-maintained workspace that may have ammonia or chlorine odors. The core hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with overtime opportunities.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
