**Aerotek's client is currently hiring for Production Operators in Belcamp to join their team in the Belcamp, MD area**
**Job Description**
+ As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for effectively cleaning all assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant. This includes maintaining equipment, machinery, and general grounds while adhering to food safety standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate equipment on the production/manufacturing line within the plant.
+ You will have multiple responsibilities pertaining to the upkeep of manufacturing standards.
+ Clean and maintain all assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant, including equipment and machinery.
+ Use plant touch screens proficiently and follow CIP procedures.
+ Demonstrate safe and proper use of cleaning tools, including squeegees, mops, brooms, and scrapers.
+ Understand and follow labeling instructions on cleaning products.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in production, food manufacturing, and GMP practices.
+ Knowledge of SOPs, machine operation, and packaging processes.
+ Ability to perform inspection and general production tasks.
+ Competence in janitorial duties, including sanitizing and industrial cleaning.
+ Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Entry-level position with ideally 1 year of GMP experience.
+ Familiarity with FDA regulations and food processing facility requirements.

**Work Environment**
+ Work at a leading food and beverage manufacturing site that adheres to GMP standards.
+ The work environment requires strict adherence to GMPs, with no jewelry, lip rings, tongue rings, or fake nails allowed.
+ The site operates on multiple shifts, with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. It is crucial to follow GMPs to ensure continued employment.
**_Qualified candidates will be given a call withing 48 hours of submitting an application_**
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
