Production Worker
**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** The role of a Production Worker involves rebuilding valves for tanks that will eventually be filled with chlorine. These valves are similar to those on propane tanks. After rebuilding, you will operate equipment that presses and pressurizes the valve onto the top of the tank. Once a pallet of tanks is complete, you will transport them to staging or shipping areas using a forklift. Over time, you may learn how to fill the tanks with chlorine. The role also includes cleaning, prepping, and removing old labels from the tanks. This position primarily involves general labor with some forklift use. **Responsibilities** + Rebuild valves for tanks intended to be filled with chlorine. + Operate equipment to press and pressurize valves onto tanks. + Transport completed pallets of tanks to staging or shipping areas using a forklift. + Clean, prep, and remove old labels from tanks. + Perform general labor tasks. + Learn to fill tanks with chlorine as part of the role development. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in a production environment, preferably GMP regulated. + 1+ year of forklift experience. + Ability to read a tape measure. + Ability to follow instructions and take orders. + Safety-oriented mindset. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in staging, bagging and tagging, chemical handling, labeling, shipping, and warehouse operations. + Strong attention to detail and safety protocols. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a pathway from contract to union roles, with competitive pay increases upon conversion. Protective wear, including face shields, glasses, and full rubber suits, are provided when handling chemicals. Core hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
