Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Worker where you'll be an essential part of the exterior bulk departments, occasionally collaborating with the interior departments as needed. Your main tasks will involve loading and packaging/palletizing, ensuring that door components are prepared for assembly.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and organize door components for assembly, including frames and windows.Read and understand tickets to determine needed components.Lift materials and maintain the pace of the production line.Collect components, place them on the line, and complete paperwork for damaged products.Measure using a measuring tape and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching.Palletize and package completed doors by lifting, building pallets, and using nail guns and saws.Print labels for each door and prepare door stacks for shipping.Perform quality checks to ensure the unit is undamaged and contains all correct components.Build and transport skids to support doors and secure them to pallets.Organize orders to build safe and aesthetically pleasing pallets.Essential Skills1+ years' experience in production/manufacturing or general labor.Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.Experience with saws or hand and power tools, or willingness to learn.Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32”.Reliable transportation (site not accessible by public transit).Experience in picking and packing.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to learn.Team player attitude.Initiative-taking.CNC machine operating experience is a plus.Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical inclination are nice-to-have.Work Environment

You will work in a custom wood manufacturing facility. The facility is brand new and clean, with a focus on safety, providing all necessary protective equipment. Training occurs on the day shift, and the dress code includes long pants, long sleeve shirts, and safety gear provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
