Job Description
As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for the entire manufacturing process of magnet wire products. This includes handling raw materials, feeding the production line, operating machinery, troubleshooting basic machine issues, and ensuring quality control. You will document process updates, use an overhead crane, and operate a forklift to store finished products. The role involves minimal physical exertion as the automated machines handle most tasks.
ResponsibilitiesHandle raw materials to prepare for production.Feed raw wire into the production line.Set machines according to specification sheets.Operate and troubleshoot basic machine issues.Pull in-process enamel samples for quality checks.Monitor production line quality using HMI touchscreen.Document all in-process updates manually.Use an overhead crane to move finished spools of wire.Operate a forklift to store finished products in the warehouse.Essential SkilOur ClientAbility to work safely without consistent supervision.Capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.Open-mindedness to train on a forklift.Strong tenure at previous employers.Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding written work orders in English.Additional SkilOur Client & QualificationsPrevious experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction.Good soft skills and a willingness to be trained.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The facility is clean but can be loud and hot in some areas. It is expanding, with plans to build new warehouse spaces and install new production lines. The work schedule follows a 2/2/3 pattern, with shifts running from 8 AM to 8 PM for the 1st shift and 8 PM to 8 AM for the 3rd shift. A traditional manufacturing environment awaits you.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr.
