**Job Title: Production Worker**
**Job Description**
As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for rebuilding valves for tanks intended to be filled with chlorine. This involves operating equipment to press and pressurize the valve onto the tank. Once a pallet of tanks is complete, you will transport them using a forklift to staging or shipping areas. Additionally, you will clean, prep, and remove old labels from tanks. While the role primarily involves general labor tasks, it also requires some use of a sit-down forklift. Eventually, you will be trained to fill the tanks with chlorine after being hired.
**Responsibilities**
+ Rebuild valves for tanks similar to those on propane tanks.
+ Operate equipment to pressurize valves onto tanks.
+ Transport completed pallets of tanks using a forklift.
+ Clean, prep, and remove old labels from tanks.
+ Participate in general labor tasks and operate a sit-down forklift.
+ Learn to fill tanks with chlorine post-hiring.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of experience in a production environment, preferably GMP regulated.
+ At least 1 year of forklift experience.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
+ Strong adherence to instructions and orders.
+ Safety-oriented mindset.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in chemical handling, labeling, and shipping.
+ Proficiency in staging, bagging, and tagging.
+ Experience in warehouse operations.

**Work Environment**
This role is primarily located in Saint Paul, with occasional assistance needed at the Rosemount plant. The environment is chemical in nature, often smelling of ammonia or chlorine. Protective gear such as face shields, glasses, and full rubber suits are provided for chemical handling. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 2 pm, with overtime opportunities.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Union position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
