Job Description

Join our team in a dynamic production environment dedicated to producing quality food products. Your role involves working on production lines, handling and stacking products, and operating machinery efficiently.

ResponsibilitiesWork on production lines to box and stack products.Load and unload products into machines and wrap them.Handle boxes weighing 15-20 pounds, either loading them onto machines or stacking them on pallets.Open boxes of empty glass bottles and feed them into production machines.Palletize finished products at the end of the production line.Maintain cleanliness of the work area throughout the shift.Adhere to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 15-20 pounds repeatedly.Capability to stand for shifts ranging from 10-12 hours.Teamwork skills for working on a production line.Experience or comfort working on high-speed production lines.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in production, general labor, or warehouse settings is beneficial.Ability to operate or learn to operate pallet jacks and packaging machinery.Comfort working in environments with strong smells due to food products such as garlic, jalapeños, and salsa.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Shifts last 10-12 hours, requiring standing for long periods. Protective gear, including gloves, hair nets, and safety glasses, is provided, but candidates must supply their own steel-toed boots. Temporary workers wear royal blue shirts, provided upon starting. The workplace hosts a diverse staff, with many speaking Spanish or Haitian Creole. Employees are provided with lockers and a break room equipped with microwaves and vending machines.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
