**Job Title: Production Worker - $29-33/hr after 4 month conversion!**

**Job Description**
As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for rebuilding valves for tanks designed to hold chlorine. This involves working with valves similar to those found on propane tanks. Once rebuilt, you will use specialized equipment to pressurize and attach the valves to the tanks. Completed tanks will be moved using a forklift to designated staging or shipping areas. Over time, you will gain the skills necessary to fill tanks with chlorine. Additional tasks include cleaning, prepping, and removing old labels from tanks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Rebuild valves for chlorine tanks.
+ Operate equipment to pressurize and attach valves to tanks.
+ Transport completed tanks using a forklift to staging or shipping areas.
+ Learn and execute the process of filling tanks with chlorine.
+ Perform general labor tasks including cleaning, prepping, and labeling tanks.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of experience in a production environment, preferably GMP regulated.
+ At least 1 year of forklift experience.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
+ Strong ability to follow instructions and take orders.
+ Safety-oriented mindset.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in chemical handling and warehouse operations.
+ Familiarity with staging, bagging, tagging, labeling, and shipping processes.

**Work Environment**
The primary work location is in Saint Paul, with occasional assistance needed in the Rosemount plant. The work environment is chemical-heavy, often smelling of ammonia or chlorine, and while it can be dirty, it is well-maintained for the tasks performed. Safety gear such as protective wear, face shields, glasses, and rubber suits is provided when handling chemicals. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm, with opportunities for overtime.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
