Job Description

Work in a dynamic production environment producing food products. Engage in various tasks on production lines including boxing, stacking, loading, unloading, palletizing, and wrapping products. Handle boxes weighing between 15-20 pounds, either feeding them into machines or stacking them on pallets. Open boxes with empty glass bottles for the production process or palletize boxes at the end of the line.

Work Environment

Work in a temperature-variable production environment, cold in winter and warm in summer, with no air conditioning or heating. Be comfortable with strong food smells like garlic, jalapeño, salsa, and taco sauce. Shifts can be 10 or 12 hours long, requiring standing for extended periods. Personal protective equipment such as gloves, beard nets, hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses is provided; steel-toed boots must be supplied by the worker. Temporary workers wear royal blue shirts, with two provided upon start. Collaborate with a diverse team where many speak Spanish or Haitian Creole. Utilize personal lockers and a break room with microwaves and vending machines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
