Production Worker
**Upfitter** **Job Description** Join a leading team in the vehicle modification industry, specializing in making transportation more accessible and efficient. As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in assembling and installing wheelchair ramps in transit vans, ensuring quality and efficiency on the production line. **Responsibilities** + Install wheelchair ramps in transit vans. + Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. + Assemble components using hand and power tools. + Read and interpret blueprints to guide assembly processes. + Maintain a steady workflow on the production line to prevent bottlenecks. + Identify and address potential problems early in the production process. + Use a variety of power tools including bandsaws, circular saws, and drills. + Work independently and collaboratively to meet daily production goals. + Track supplies and equipment, notifying the manager of inventory levels. + Adapt to new areas of the production line or new builds. + Train new hires in your area of responsibility as needed. + Always comply with core values and complete other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Experience in mechanical assembly and upfitting. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Comfortable with measuring tapes and working with chemicals. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in a production environment is preferred. + **Previous experience performing installation assembly is ideal** + Must be able to complete production-related physical activities. + Participation in required company safety programs and training. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy benefits such as steel toe reimbursement, 40 hours of PTO after 90 days, and prescription eye protection reimbursement. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
