Job Description
As a Production Worker, you will play an integral role in the manufacturing and distribution of chemicals used in industrial products, food manufacturing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, staging shipments, moving products using a sit-down forklift, correctly labeling products, and filling chemicals. You may also be required to fill totes, clean them, scrape off labels, and relabel them, as well as complete manual fills.
ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks using a sit-down forklift.Stage shipments accurately and efficiently.Move products with a forklift and ensure correct labeling.Perform chemical filling and manual fills as required.Fill, clean, scrape off labels, and relabel totes.Handle chemicals safely according to GMP regulations.Essential SkillsForklift operation with 3+ years of experience.Experience in a production environment for 3+ years, preferably GMP regulated.Ability to read a tape measure.Strong safety orientation and ability to follow instructions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with staging, bagging and tagging.Knowledge of chemical handling, labeling, and shipping.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in a 'Food' building where chemicals are distributed to food manufacturers and distributors. The environment is non-union and may be dirty, but is cleaned to suit the work performed. Protective gear, including face shields, glasses, and full rubber suits, are provided for chemical handling. The facility typically has smells of ammonia or chlorine. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with a shift to a 9am start time after training.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
