**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced fabrication shop where your hands-on skills help build the backbone of major mechanical systems. We’re looking for a reliable, safety-conscious general laborer to assist in daily shop operations and support the fabrication of mechanical components used in large-scale construction projects. **Responsibilities** + Assist fabricators and welders with the preparation and assembly of mechanical components. + Operate basic hand and power tools to support cutting, grinding, and material handling. + Load and unload materials, stage parts for production, and organize inventory. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies. + Support the movement and positioning of heavy components using forklifts, hoists, or cranes (training provided if needed). + Perform general maintenance and cleanup duties as assigned by shop supervisors. **Essential Skills** + General labor experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. + Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols. + Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork mentality. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED preferred. + Prior experience in a fabrication or construction environment is a plus but not required. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy benefits such as PTO, 401K, and comprehensive health and vision coverage. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6AM-3:30PM. Steel-toed footwear is required. The environment focuses on the piping and plumbing side, involving tasks like moving materials, cutting pipe, and fabricating. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
