Are you ready to be part of a fast-paced, innovative environment? As a Production Worker, you'll play a crucial role in our assembly areas, including Coiling, Foam Encasement, Assembly, Gluing, Sewing, Borders, Quilting, Closing, and Packing. You'll use a variety of pneumatic tools such as c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, and hot glue guns to assemble mattresses. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that every mattress component and finished unit is flawless.
ResponsibilitiesPrecision Assembly: Follow established work instructions to assemble mattresses using pneumatic tools.Innovative Techniques: Work with Hot Melt Bond (HMB) units on the HMB machine.Quality Craftsmanship: Apply specified upholstered layers to HMB and open coil units.Final Touches: Handle foam-encased pocketed coil units and finalize mattress assembly.Quality Assurance: Inspect mattress components and finished units for defects.Collaborative Efforts: Participate in box spring assembly requiring hand tools and heavy lifting.Manual Expertise: Assist in mattress assembly using manual processes with less tool usage.Creative Quilting: Engage in quilting processes, involving sewing, cutting, and measuring materials.Efficient Loading: Load machines with necessary materials for production, requiring heavier lifting.Essential SkillsExperience:1+ years in production and assembly.Tool Proficiency: Experience with hand tools and general assembly.Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English.Education: High school diploma or GED.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred Experience: Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.Bonus Skills: Experience with sewing machines and nail guns is beneficial.Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.Why Work Here?Grow with Us!

Work EnvironmentComfortable and Safe:
Our air-conditioned work environment ensures comfort during your shifts, typically running from 5 am to 2 pm, with the possibility of working up to 12-hour shifts depending on volume. Expect overtime and availability on Saturdays during peak seasons. Our manufacturing plant is fast-paced, engaged in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices, ensuring a clean and safe work area. You'll be exposed to high noise levels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment is provided and mandatory for any hazards.

This position is based out of Riviera Beach, Florida.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
