What You'll Get to Do:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. May be required to perform conformal/corona coating applications for printed circuit boards (PWB).
We are looking for you to join our team as a Production Test Technician 3 based out of San Diego, CA. This position is on-site.
Basic Qualifications Production Test Technician 3:
High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of industry-related experience.
Experience working with avionics or electronics.
Experience troubleshooting/debuging modules, CCAs to the component level.
Experience analyzing and interpreting Digital and RF electrical schematics.
Experience in using electronic test equipment: Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, Signal Analyzer, Digital Multimeter to functionally test and troubleshoot hardware.
Experience with ESD (electrostatic discharge) and FOD (foreign object damage) control.
US Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications Production Test Technician 3:
Active Secret clearance.
Advanced education in avionics or electronics.
Developmental or operational test experience.
4 years or more of industry-related testing and troubleshooting experience.
Experience with ESD (electrostatic discharge) and FOD (foreign object damage) control.
Experience with MS Office products.
Experience with FAR, ITAR, AS9100, and/or ISO 90001 rules and regulations.
