Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Production Test Technician 3 based in Salt Lake City, UT. This will be a 4th shift weekend position (12 hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
The Production Test Technician sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches. Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed. Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
What you'll get to do:

The ideal candidate must be proficient in both written and verbal communication, work in a team environment, and have the ability to operate independently under minimal supervision.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of 4 years of relevant electronics work experience, OR an Associates Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline OR an Electronics training equivalent to 2 years technical trade school or military technical school with a minimum of 2 years of relevant electronics work experience.Experience utilizing digital multi-meters and/or other lab test equipment.Experience utilizing Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)Ability to work 4th shift (12 hours Friday, Saturday & Sunday)Experience reading, understanding and following Assembly instructions and test procedures.Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.US Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).Experience working in a manufacturing testing environment.Experience working closely with Test and Manufacturing engineers.Experience trouble-shooting navigational Instruments.Experience with LinuxActive Secret Clearance
