Production Test Supervisor

Our client, a leading manufacturer of transformers and power supplies for military and industrial applications, is seeking a Production Test Supervisor to join their team. As a Production Test Supervisor, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Production Test Team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Test Supervisor
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually

What's the Job? Lead and manage the daily activities of the production test team to ensure accurate, timely testing of production components and finished products. Partner closely with engineering to ensure test scripts, equipment, plans, and procedures are developed during the design phase to enable efficient, cost-effective production testing. Monitor team performance, provide coaching and constructive feedback, and address issues that arise during the testing process, including leadership of both union and non-union team members. Investigate the root causes of defective materials and coordinate corrective actions. Develop and execute product test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability.What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent military experience in electrical systems or electrical systems testing. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, product, and system testing. Minimum of 5 years of experience in transformer manufacturing. At least 2 years of experience leading direct reports. U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-controlled data.What's in it for me?
