The Production Technician is responsible for the inspection, labeling, and packaging of finished drug products. This role involves performing tasks manually or operating equipment designed for these functions. Regular and predictable onsite attendance is essential.
ResponsibilitiesPerform visual inspection of drug product in accordance with SOPs and cGMPs.Conduct manual labeling and packaging functions as required.Set up, maintain, and operate various computerized and manual inspection, labeling, and packaging equipment.Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of production areas per internal SOPs.Ensure the quality of machine output and product integrity.Maintain a clean and organized production environment.Complete and maintain logbook and batch record paperwork following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).Escalate machine and manual deviations to the area supervisor or designee.Provide peer training on all production-related procedures.Identify, segregate, and report defective products to management, taking accountability for the final product.Perform other related duties as determined by management.Essential SkillsMinimum two years of cGMP manufacturing experience.Experience in production packaging and labeling.Basic computer knowledge.Strong attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required.Experience working in a 503b Facility.Some college and/or college degree preferred.Why Work Here?Join a team with great growth potential expected over the next 6-12 months. Work EnvironmentThis fully on-site position is located in North Brunswick, New Jersey, working a first shift from 6am to 4pm. The job environment has a moderate noise level, with hearing protection provided and potentially required at times. The role may involve lifting between 5 and 40 pounds, and requires standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the shift.
