Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Job Description

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for performing daily inventory counts and assisting with cycle counting activities. This role involves receiving, labeling, and storing incoming materials according to company procedures, issuing materials to production teams, and updating inventory records accordingly. The specialist will maintain clean and organized storage areas, follow all safety guidelines, and assist in investigating inventory discrepancies. Additionally, the role includes supporting shipping and receiving tasks and collaborating with warehouse and production staff to ensure a smooth workflow.

Responsibilities

Configure, test, and troubleshoot advanced cash-handling equipment to meet high-quality standards.Perform precision fitting and alignment to ensure smooth operation of moving parts.Tear down, rebuild, and assemble new and refurbished units with accuracy and care.Use precision measuring tools and electrical testing devices to guarantee top performance.Maintain inventory accuracy and support special projects that drive innovation.Collaborate with the Quality team to identify training needs and resolve technical issues.Recommend improvements to enhance service, reliability, and efficiency.Monitor machine performance and record data for continuous improvement.Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance activities.Work from detailed assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.Lift, transport, and assemble components as needed.Take on additional responsibilities that make a difference every day.

Essential Skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel or similar).Good communication skills and willingness to learn.Reliability and willingness to be trained.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to lift up to 30 Ibs and stand for extended periods.Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

This is a temporary role with potential for conversion. The work environment is very pleasant, with a super clean production floor and a quiet atmosphere. The office space is nice and reflects a good company culture.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Watertown, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
