Job Title: Production Technician
Job Description
The production technician is responsible for setting up machinery and equipment to carry out routine processing operations for the production of parts or finished goods. The work performed must meet established tolerance and quality standards. Additionally, the technician maintains and keeps appropriate records, participates in group meetings and problem-solving sessions, and assists in work planning and scheduling. Training other manufacturing personnel in product, process, and quality-related aspects is also part of this role. Other related duties may be performed as needed or directed.
Pay: $21 - $22/hr + Overtime (OT) weekly
Shift: 2 shifts available
First (1st) shift: 9:00am - 7:30pm, Monday - Thursday Third (3rd shift): 7:00pm - 5:30am, Monday - ThursdayResponsibilities
Set up machinery and equipment for production processes.Ensure work meets established tolerance and quality standards.Maintain and keep accurate records.Participate in group meetings and problem-solving sessions.Assist in work planning and scheduling.Train other manufacturing personnel in relevant job aspects.Perform other related duties as needed or directed.Essential Skills
Operation and Control - Controlling equipment or system operations.Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance and determining maintenance needs.Operation Monitoring - Monitoring machine indicators for proper functioning.Active Listening - Attentively understanding others and responding appropriately.Troubleshooting - Identifying causes of errors and determining solutions.Active Learning - Applying new information for problem-solving and decision-making.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Additional Skills & Qualifications
