**Job Title: Production Technician** Job Description We are seeking a diligent Production Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating production tooling and equipment to meet production and quality goals, assisting in maintaining system integrity, and ensuring quality standards are met. Responsibilities + Operate production tooling and equipment to achieve production and quality goals. + Assist in maintaining Business Operating System integrity and alert management to quality issues. + Maintain the integrity of tooling and equipment necessary for work. + Move suspect assemblies or components to Non-Conforming or assembly rework area. + Promote teamwork among fellow workers and communicate effectively across shifts. + Complete all paperwork accurately associated with job assignments. + Document all required activities and adhere to company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation. + Advise Department Manager of significant risks to program, product assurance, facilities, or employee safety. + Initiate actions to prevent nonconformance related to products, processes, and systems. + Identify and record any problems related to the product, process, or system. + Recommend or provide solutions through appropriate channels and verify implementation. + Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming products until deficiencies are corrected. Essential Skills + High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. + Good written and mathematical skills. + Effective communication and teamwork skills. + Possession of color and/or appearance testing approval where applicable. + Familiarity with quality specifications and documentation in an automotive environment is a plus. Work Environment You will work in a clean, non-climate-controlled environment equipped with large industrial fans. The shift times are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a requirement to stay until 7:00 PM when necessary. The safety dress code includes mandatory steel-toe footwear, safety vests, and glasses. Cellphone use is prohibited on the production floor, and appropriate attire is required, including the allowance of cargo-style shorts. Adherence to the attendance policy is crucial, with strict enforcement of punctuality and attendance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $16.35/hr.
