In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production processes. Responsibilities + Operate machinery and tools for cutting, bending, and assembling sheet metal components. + Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools. + Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. + Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. + Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. + Assist in quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications. Essential Skills + Basic labor experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. + Ability to read a tape measure accurately for cutting and fabricating sheet metal. + Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate tools and machinery. + Effective English communication skills and comfort in a Spanish-speaking environment. + Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks. + Willingness to learn new skills and assist in other departments. + Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Work Environment The work environment is within a manufacturing facility focused on the fabrication of sheet metal products. It is often busy and dynamic, requiring employees to be physically active and adaptable to changing demands. Safety protocols are strictly followed, and personal protective equipment is required. The structured workflow ensures quality standards, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7AM-3:30PM, with optional overtime. Employees must provide their own steel toe boots. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
