Production Technician
Job Title: Production TechnicianJob Description

As a Production Technician, you will utilize precise processes and tools to set up molds in a variety of machines. You will be responsible for printing work orders, viewing production schedules, and managing mold cycles. Your role will include troubleshooting basic equipment failures and performing preventive maintenance on equipment for upcoming work orders.

ResponsibilitiesSet up molds in various machines using precise processes and tools.Print work orders and review production schedules.Learn and manage mold cycles efficiently.Troubleshoot basic equipment failures.Perform preventive maintenance on equipment for upcoming work orders.Respond to machine alarms in a timely manner.Report any irregularities, such as high scrap rates, to the Team Lead or Lead Tech.
Essential Skills2+ years of experience operating injection mold machines or 2 years of experience in automotive or mechanical assembly.1+ year of experience in machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.1+ year of experience in injection mold setup, setting molds in machines, and running first articles.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in clean room operations, medical assembly, and machine operation.Ability to work in a clean room environment and adhere to gowning requirements.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled facility with recent expansions. It is a clean room manufacturing company where employees are friendly and welcoming. Contractors are required to gown up, remove jewelry and makeup, and wear booties, masks, and safety glasses. The schedule follows a 2/2/3 pattern with 12-hour shifts from either 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Enjoy working 3 days one week and 4 days the next, with every other weekend off. Additional shift differentials are available, with A/B shifts offering $2/hr and B/D shifts offering $4/hr.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BALDWIN, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $38.00/hr.
