Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to operate production tooling and equipment, ensuring production and quality goals and standards are met. This role involves assisting in maintaining the integrity of the Business Operating System and addressing any quality system discrepancies.
ResponsibilitiesOperate production tooling and equipment to achieve production and quality goals.Maintain integrity of tooling and equipment required for work.Move suspect assemblies or components to Non-Conforming or rework area.Promote teamwork and effective communication across all shifts.Complete all paperwork accurately and document all activities as required.Adhere to company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure safety.Advise Department Manager of significant risks to program, product, facilities, safety, or customer satisfaction.Initiate actions to prevent nonconformance in product, process, or systems.Control further processing of nonconforming product until deficiencies are resolved.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Good written and mathematical skills.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Possession of color and/or appearance testing approval where applicable.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with quality specifications and documentation in an automotive environment is a plus.Automotive industry experience is highly desirable.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is clean but not climate-controlled, with large industrial fans to assist with air circulation. Employees must wear steel-toe footwear, safety vests, and safety glasses at all times. The use of cellphones is prohibited on the production floor. The shift runs from 6:30 AM to 3 PM, with flexibility required until 7 PM. The role requires physical stamina, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $16.35/hr.
