Production Technician
**Job Title: New Hire Utility** **Job Description** The New Hire Utility role offers an opportunity to learn and operate equipment associated with extrusion and tube mill processes, handling aluminum products with precision and care. As a Utility employee, you will be trained to support and move materials, utilizing lifting techniques and hoists, while adhering to safe job practices and meeting quality requirements. **Responsibilities** + Operate, support, and move materials using lifting techniques and hoists. + Learn press team operations within the aluminum extrusion department. + Ensure all quality objectives are met and assist operators in extrusion or casting equipment. + Report and review unusual conditions to lead operators or supervisors. + Interact constantly with team members and management to meet daily production goals. + Work in a Union environment, adhering to shift movement and flexibility terms. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or assembly. + Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production processes. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation. + Ability to perform physical demands, including lifting weights over 15 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs assisted. **Why Work Here?** This role offers a strong sense of community and values, welcoming veterans and candidates with integrity and a strong work ethic.
